Visionox developed China's first monochrome flexible OLED display

Visionox's successful AMOLED flexible display adopts thin film encapsulation technology, which overcomes many technical difficulties such as flexible substrate substrate bonding and stripping, flexible film high-definition patterning, and flexible screen film packaging. At the same time, since the original glass substrate of the screen is replaced by a film, the product becomes lighter and thinner.

It is understood that in June 2002, Visionox obtained a patent on the synthesis of red OLED materials granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office; in October 2008, Visionox designed and built the first PMOLED in mainland China. The scale production line was put into production in Kunshan; in 2010, the company built the first AMOLED pilot production line in China, and successfully developed 2.8-inch, 3.5-inch, 7.6-inch and 12-inch AMOLED full-color displays, leading the development of OLED national and industry standards.

At present, many well-known display companies including Samsung, LG, and SONY are developing OLED flexible display technologies, but they have not yet achieved industrialization.

"The Samsung Galaxy series of high-end mobile phones use OLED screens, OLED is a general victory over Apple in the third quarter of last year." Vice President Wu Yande pointed out. It is understood that AMOLED technology still has a lot of room for development, including Samsung, although there are many companies involved in this field, but it is basically in the research and development stage.

"On a global scale, OLED is a billion-dollar industry. If you factor in the development of OLED in the field of lighting, it is two hundred billion industries!" Wu Yande said: "At present, only Samsung has achieved large-volume shipments. For some time, the AMOLED market will continue to be in short supply."
