Electronic Fans News: 2012 Altera DSP Technology Seminar_Video Application Solutions was grandly opened on August 16, 2012 in the No. 5 meeting room on the second floor of Novotel Shenzhen Libolin. Electronic Fans also participated in the seminar meeting. Here, I will study the video solutions for video applications designed by Altera FPGA-specific digital signal processor (DSP) with everyone. Understand the model-based design flow in DSP Builder and how MathWorks tools help engineers implement high-performance floating-point DSPs.

Altera DSP Technology Seminar_Video application solutions are taught by Long Dai ’s technology application engineer David Dai. The core content has the following three points:

1) Improve the ability of video processing, learn how to use Altera Video Design Workbench (EDN Innovation Award winner), learn how to build the entire video processing chain;

2) In video processing, learn the integration of Altera with customized intellectual property (IP) cores and various video interfaces;

3) Learn how to quickly develop target video processing and format conversion functions.
